An Introduction to Technical Diving

A CD-ROM for Windows® and Macintosh® Computers [US$29.95]

An Introduction to Technical Diving CD-ROM defines, elucidates, and pictorially portrays the various types of technical diving [such as cave diving, deep diving, ice diving, solo diving, sump diving, and wreck diving], as well as the equipment and skills needed to safely participate and/or pursue certification. Although it is not intended to be a substitute for formal training, this CD-ROM provides comprehensive detailed information in a beautifully illustrated format and can be used as either a reference source or an educational aid for divers of all training levels.

This CD-ROM introduces the realm of technical diving through the experiences of the expeditionary team El Proyecto de Buceo Espeleologico México y América Central, led by world record holders Jim Bowden and Dr. Ann Kristovich.

Dental Implants article from Alert Diver added to web site

We have added an article written by our dental consultant, Dr. Larry Stein to our web page about dental problems. The article was published in Alert Diver, DAN's bimonthly magazine, in the March/April 2005 issue. It is reprinted without photos with permission from the author and DAN.

To read the article, go to http://scuba-doc.com/dentalimplants.html. As usual, Dr. Stein goes right to the heart of the matter, giving excellent background information and risk assessments associated with the dental procedure. We are fortunate to have Dr. Stein on our team.
